Bruce Nuwagaba 22 young beauty pageants were last week unveiled as the 2019/2020 Miss Uganda contestants at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala following the search of the most elegant lady that will represent Uganda at the Miss World beauty contest.
These contestants will however have to step up to bar raised by Our very own Miss Uganda 2018,Quiin Abenakyo who was the second runner up in the prestigious Miss World Competition Last year. She was also given the title Miss World Africa during the competition.
The final crowning night will be held at Sheraton Hotel Kampala on the 26th of July and the event will be graced by the World’s number one Beauty Queen ,Miss World Vanessa Ponce.
This is the list of contestants,
No.1 Mariam Muhamed
Mariam Muhamed is a Personal Assistant from Wakiso pursuing a degree in Procurement and Logistics.
No.2 Gloria Nawanyaga
Gloria Nawanyaga, 23, is from Masaka District and currently pursuing a Law Degree.
No. 3 Anshemeza Santina
Anshemeza
Santina is a 21-year-old student who hails from Kiruhura, currently
studying from Uganda Christian University (UCU) pursuing a bachelor’s
degree in Public Administration.
No.4 Braton Braxy Kempango
Braton is a 21-year-old hailing from Kabaraole, she is self employed.
No.5 Nyamatte Mariam
Nyamatte is a Marketer from Ntungamo and she holds a diploma in Law.
No. 6 Nabirah Nagawa
Nabirah, 22, is a student currently pursuing a diploma in Fashion Design and she hails from Wakiso.
No. 7 Petronella Acen
Petronella Acen, 25 hails from Kole District. She is a student pursuing a degree in Education.
No. 8 Nusura Babirye
Jinja’s Babirye Nusura is aged 20 and a diploma student doing Business Administration.
