Ugandan Pop Star and Member of Parliament Hon.Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine on Tuesday was awarded another intercontinental accolade during the International Human Rights Summit that was hosted in Chicago,USA. This award was given to him due to his outstanding struggle for Human rights in Uganda.

The head of the People Power Pressure Group In Uganda was chosen as one of the several panelists from across the globe speak at the Global international forum organized by veteran human rights defenders and politicians like Rev. Jesse Jackson (Founder of the Rainbow Push Coalition ) and Martin Luther King Jr’s Associates who also participated in the handing over the accolade to Hon.Robert Kyagulanyi.
The summit that was hosted for 5 days was moderated by Dr. Ewa Era . An opening speech of the forum was made by former United States Vice president Joe Biden a current presidential runner for the Democrats in the forthcoming 2020 United States Presidential elections.
During the awarding ceremony, Hon. Kyagulanyi promised not to give up his call of a free and United Uganda until it’s achieved. He also got time to interact and grab shoulders with the most prominent influential human rights activists like Rev.Dr Grace Ji-Sun Kim, Dr.Isabella Alexander and Daniela Gomes .
