The Tennis World has experienced yet another fairytale story and her name is Cori “Coco” Gauff .The young girl who is on the lips of every sports journalist at the moment and loved by Tennis fans all over the world who cheer and chant her name every-time she steps on the court. The 15 year old star who keeps wowing commentators and has left the World Sports fraternity in awe recently stunned the world when she defeated Tennis Legend Venus Williams in straight sets to claim her first grand slam win in her Tennis Career. The young vibrant girl from Atlanta, Florida is leaving her dreams rightnow which she stated after her historic win over her tennis Icon Venus Williams. The 39 year old was beaten convincingly and had nothing but kind words for her prodigy, who is already making big headlines than Venus did when she was 15 years old.

In 2004 a star in Cori was born ,by that time Venus Williams was already a big star with 4 grand slam titles to her name at just 24 years old. The Legend has gone on to claim more titles and was once the greatest female star of all time until her younger sister Serena Eclipsed her title haul and Glory. It should be noted now that the 39 year old Iconic Star now ranked 44th in the world is way past her prime when she held the no 1 top spot and she is now paving way for the younger Tennis Generation.

Well here comes Cori who proved yet again yesterday and wednesday that her win against Venus wasn’t just a onetime moment of brilliance ,by defeating Polona Hercog and Magdaléna Rybáriková respectively in round two and three to set up a fourth-round clash with former world number 1 Simona Halep in the Wimbledon championships.

The young star recently intimated after her victory against Venus that she is living her dreams and that she never thought that she would be able to compete at the biggest Tennis stage of them all “Wimbledon”
Cori who is coached by her father is following in the footsteps of the Williams Sisters who by far have set the bar for the tennis sports worlds and female sports in general worldwide by creating a trademark name in Sports entertainment. Let us hope that Cori can successfully follow in the footsteps and even break more records.

Cori is already on her way to greatness after being the youngest athlete to compete in a Tennis Grand Slam , The US open at the tender age of 13 .She has already bagged youth French Open trophy and we hope that she can go on to claim her first major trophy in Wimbledon at just 15 to seal her name in the realms of greatness.
