Self-proclaimed Dr. Jose Chameleone, real names Joseph Mayanja has been awarded the African descent Lifetime achievement award for his contribution and positive impact to African music. This was at the African Descent Festival that took place at Vancouver, Canada.
The African Descent Festival is an event that celebrates the cultural diversity of people with African descent while also recognizing attitudes from all other ethnic groups and communities.
