The ‘mazike’ singer who is riding high thanks to the comic half baked music he has brought to the industry and his affiliation to his son super star rapper Fresh Kid who exploded onto the music scene in march this year.
But the new Ugandan superstars fairytale could soon be coming to an end as the Mazike rapper could be getting sued anytime soon by Kenyan singer Nyashinski. The singer who featured in Sauti Sol’s hit track ‘short and sweet’ is said to be planning to take legal action against ‘fuleesi daddy’ for copying and pasting his ‘Free’ song and releasing his Mazike song.
One may wonder the reason why such a well established artist In East Africa like Nyashinski would take legal action against a comic musician like Fresh Daddy who looks to be having a short stint of fame in the music industry after he was recently pelted with bottles by fans at Lido beach during his music performance where they told him to take his comedy and half baked music out of the industry.
However inside sources within the music industry have quickly come out to point out Ugandan Presenter and Artist Manager Mc Kats as the mastermind behind the Lawsuit. Mc Kats who recently launched verbal attacks in the media on Fresh Daddy and his management after his first debut track went viral and garnered thousands of views in the public after patching up a lukeworm beat and a few vaguely written words in the studio. The rift between Kats and Fresh Daddys Manager Khalifah Aganaga has been going on since the time when MC Kats refused to allow Fresh Daddy to perform on stage at Wave lounge a few weeks back. Since then the two camps have been clashing and The popular Ugandan presenter Kats promised to fail Fresh Daddy’s music.
