Jamal Roars Back With New Song Featuring Daddy Andre

Fresh from a self-imposed break, Jamal Wasswa commonly known to many as Jamal in the Ugandan entertainment scene is back. Jamal who made a break-through into Uganda’s music industry through a collabo ‘Omulembe gwabalasi‘ way back in 2006 featuring “Rocky Giant” decided to take a break from music after his contract with his then manager expired in 2008 and wasn’t willing to renew it. After a long hiatus, he resurfaced last year with a song “Nagezako” and disappeared again after promising his fans that he was going to drop an album thereafter. Well, the good news for Jamal music fans is that the love song guru is back again with a collabo featuring one of the hottest producers at the moment Daddy Andre who also doubles as an Artist and producer of their new song.

The song titled “Mwagale” is textbook Jamal with nothing but preaching the gospel of love. The song has Jamal advising men to treat their women with lots of love despite the challenges they may have. Maybe Jamals music is the only thing that can save ‘Sheilah and god’s plan relationship.’ We all hope that this is a statement of intent from Jamal telling the Uganda music industry that he is here to stay.
