Josephine Karungi quits NTV Uganda for a juicy job at World Bank

The well known and famous anchor, Josephine Karungi, has resigned from working with NTV Uganda for a juicy job at World Bank.

She has worked at this station for 15 years since joining in 2009 . She has been serving as the Head of News at NTV Uganda since October 2018.

Karungi retired from this position at NTV Uganda since she landed her a consultancy job from World Bank.

The development was confirmed by Sheila Kulubya, the outgoing World Bank Communication’s officer in Uganda.

She’s been stationed to work in Geneva, Switzerland as an external affairs officer of the World Bank Group office.

Josephine Karungi leaves at a time when employees at Nation Media Group outlets in Uganda are uncertain about their future after the company announced that it would be downsizing.
