Man Who Rushed General Katumba To Hospital Is Awarded With A Brand New Motorcycle

Kawuki William became an overnight hero a few weeks ago after he courageously and voluntarily rushed Minister of works and transport Gen Katumba Wamala to hospital for medical attention.

This was after assailants had attempted to murder Gen Katumba Wamala in Kisota road near Kisaasi a Kampala suburb.

The general however escaped the assassination attempt which claimed the lives of his daughter and driver.

Wamala while in the hospital appreciated the boda rider who had taken him to the hospital although he did not know his names or whereabouts.

Many praised this boda rider because as fear had engulfed Katumba and everyone, he made a bold choice to ride the general to Malcom international hospital despite his hesitation.

However, there was confusion as a one Hakim Kasibante came out and confused the public as the rightful rider that took Katumba to the hospital.

Kawuki however later surfaced with the proof such as his jacket that contained blood and boda number plate.

Now the latest news show that Kawuki has been awarded with a brand new motorcycle from friends of General Katumba Wamala.

Kawuki while receiving his documents said he was very happy for this gift and confirmed that it had indeed legally been handed to him.

While handing over the motorcycle and documents to Kawuki the CBS programs manager said that they had done this to appreciate Kawuki for the good heart.

“We have been running an advert for a week now on how to help Kawuki and we managed to get shs5m which we have used to buy him the motorcycle. This is because most people nolonger want to help freely.” He said.

Kawuki earlier on had said that he helped the general our of pure free wulo and did not expect anything in return. This comes after he was awarded recently too by musician Big eye with cash.
