Solomon Serwanjja set to quit NBS after landing juicy continental job

Celebrated NBS TV news anchor is set to quit NBS TV at the end of this month after he landed a new juicy multimillion job as the Executive Director of the African Institute for Investigate Journalism.

The African Institute for Investigative Journalism promotes and teaches investigative journalism.

Sserwanja took to his social media pages to announce the news to his followers.

His work colleagues and other well wishers took to social media to wish him well in his next endeavors.

The NBS at 9 news anchor joined the Kiira road based TV station 6 years ago from NTV.

He has steadily built his career to becoming one of the most renowned news anchors in the country.

Serwanjja has worked with some renowned TV stations in East Africa.

These include UBC, NTV, NBS, KTN News.

He’s also won a number of awards through his journalism work.

These include among others BBC Komla Dumor award 2019, Journalist of the Year -2017- ACME Award and Post 2015 UN Award among others.

He lives behind a rich legacy in the investigative news fraternity in Uganda journalism but hopefully he will transfer it to the crop of journalists venturing into the field.
