Sasha Vybes becomes Guinness Brand Influencer in Africa

Music producer and video director Sasha Vybes has signed a mega deal with other known personalities to become a Guinness Brand Ambassador.

The group that included Swangz Avenue singer Azawi, media personality Malaika Nyanzi and comedian Uncle Mo started their campaign this Friday when they headlined the launch of the Guinness ‘Bright Shines Brightest’.

These celebrations are to mark Guinness’ long and rich history in Africa following it’s big growth and trademark of up to 32% across the continent.

The celebrations will be set to be held across the key markets in Africa.

It is inspired by the bold and unique black beer of Guinness Stout that brings together passionate and creative individuals to celebrate the spirit of Guinness and it’s home across African markets.

The campaign was launched with an energetic and colorful commercial directed by Meji Alabi, Beyonce and Davido, Tiwa Savage and Wizkid.

Azawi from Swangz Avenue had a performance that turned out great as she became the campaign face of Uganda.

There was a media take over at the Next Media Park was turned into a bright house with Azawi’s performance that was broadcasted all over the country.

“This new exciting campaign will see Guinness at the beating heart of Ugandan culture by championing new talent and all those people making waves in the society”, shared the Guinness Brand Manager Elizabeth Mutamuliza.

Last year, Sasha Vybes was listed among the most influential people under 30 by ‘Forbes Africa 30 under 30’.
