Uganda police have impounded one of the vehicles belonging to city socialite Charles Olim alias Sipapa following the directive from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Martins Okoth Ochola to have them impounded for continuous flouting traffic laws.
This comes after the IGP of police informed the media of how Sipapa’s car was becoming a menace on the road and affecting many road users hence the different complaints and threats from him.
Prior to that, Sipapa knocked on the car of a passenger with his numberless Toyota V8 Land cruiser in the company of armed security personnel and threatened to shoot him.
Mr Fred Enanga, the police spokesperson responded back on the NTVNEWS saying that the issue had been noticed and was being acknowledged.
Sipapa disagreed with these allegations since he knew he wasn’t at fault and narrated his side of the story to this whole accident on his social media page.
This made rounds around social media which brought concern and fear with the different members of the public. This alleged also led to Sipapa being recognized by big people in government hence his arrest.
