Samson Kasumba resigns from NBS TV.

It is sad news to announce the well known news anchor Samson Kasumba who reads news for Live at 9 and Live at 1 has called it quits from the Naguru Based Television station.

This was revealed via a social media post shared by Samson showing his withdrawal from his duties for further studies.

After a deep conversation with my family here and in a diaspora I have decided to reignite my interests in a Theology PhD having secured the necessary funding from a reputable University. It therefore means that my work on air comes to a holt. It is a painful decision. 💔

“I would like to inform you that today the 30th day of March 2022, I have officially rendered my resignation as a news anchor, reporter and producer at NBS TV by mutual agreement. Let there be no contradictions, I enjoyed my time at NBS TV from when I was hired,” He stated.

Many renowed anhors and hosts have been resigning from Next Media Services for different reasons. These include like Sheila Ndurukire, Solomon Serwanja and Moses Sabiiti.
