NTV news anchor Sandrah Twinoburyo quits the station

Kampala Serena Hotel based TV station NTV has lost another of its talented news anchors. This is none other than the gorgeous Sandrah Twinoburyo.

Sandra had been on the station for a period of about 4 years. She took to her Twitter page to confirm the news.

Further, she went ahead to thank everyone that has been part of this amazing journey. According to Sandrah ,its the love and criticism that has helped her to grow over the past few years at the station.

Many people thought that the news anchor was probably lying since she had revealed the news on April Fool’s day. Sandrah however clarified that this actually is not a prank and she’s quitting the station.

She also revealed NTV’s new recruit Mildred Pedun who will be replacing her on the NTV Weekend Edition.

Mildred also replied to the tweet from Sandrah encouraging her. The new recruit assured Sandrah that the program has been left in safe hands.

There has been an exodus of TV presenters in the recent past from different TV stations. The likes of Solomon Sserwanja, Sheila Nduhukire, Joseph Sabiiti and Mordechai Muriisa are some of the big names that have quit their jobs at their respective TV stations.
